At MR Roads, we’re committed to fostering safer communities where families and businesses can thrive without the worry of hazardous carparks. That’s why we’re proud to introduce our Community Carpark Safety Program.
WHAT IS THE COMMUNITY CARPARK SAFETY PROGRAM?
Potholes and carpark failures pose a significant risk to local schools, businesses, and organisations. Through our Community Carpark Safety Program, we aim to address this issue head-on by redeploying unused asphalt mix and donating it to carparks in need of repair. By doing so, we’re not only enhancing safety but also reducing asphalt waste, making a positive impact on both the environment and the community.
WHY CARPARKS?
We understand the importance of ensuring that carparks – whether at schools, sports facilities, or medical centres – are safe for pedestrians and vehicles. But maintenance and repairs come at a cost which can be prohibitive, particularly for not-for-profits and small businesses. We believe that no organisation should have to compromise safety due to financial constraints. That’s why we’ve committed to donating up to $16,000 worth of asphalt maintenance services each month – the equivalent of 300 pothole repairs across Southeast Queensland.
FITNESS CARTEL HEALTH CLUBS, KIPPA RING.
The members and staff at Fitness Cartel Health Clubs Kippa Ring had been avoiding a main section of their carpark for months. The large pothole affected members, staff and people needing to park near the gym entrance. The MR Roads team came in, got to work, and fixed the potholes using repurposed asphalt. Now, the entire carpark provides a smooth, seamless experience and greater access and safety for the community.
